Invisalign Clear Aligners for Adults
Properly aligned teeth not only function better and provide improved oral health but they also make you look and feel your more confident. In order to achieve your best smile, we offer Invisalign® clear aligners for adults. At Rosedale Dental, we are committed to giving you the best smile possible. As part of our commitment to that smile we recognize the importance of straight teeth as well as cleanliness.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a state-of-the-art process in which a clear aligner is customized for your teeth and works to slightly shift your crooked teeth both vertically and horizontally to gradually move your teeth into the proper placement. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible and can be removed while eating, brushing, and flossing your teeth. Additionally, Invisalign eliminates the risk of injury from broken wires and brackets.
The Invisalign Process
The Invisalign process, like all other orthodontics, begins with a consultation and an alignment assessment. Dr. Wendy Rose-Hyatt or Dr. Ava Parakhoodi will map out your treatment plan, including the duration of your treatment, based on the projected movements of your teeth. The cost of Invisalign is similar to traditional braces and varies depending on the complexity of each case. Like braces, Invisalign can be use on people with both simple and complex alignment issues.
Once Dr. Rose-Hyatt has established an alignment plan, she will have custom-made aligners developed that are intended to be worn 20-22 hours a day. Generally, the aligners will be changed every week which allows for up to 50% faster treatment times than traditional metal braces. Check ups are scheduled on a six-week basis to track your progress and when your treatment is complete, Dr. Rose-Hyatt will discuss if a custom-made retainer is needed to help you to maintain that beautiful new smile.
While there are other clear aligner options available, Rosendale Dental is committed to providing you with the best treatments available. Invisalign is backed by 20 years of clinical research and the experience of 4 million cases.
